The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art
Looking for a great place to visit during the off-season, look at some wildfowl art or do you want to gain more knowledge about the outdoors? Well look no more as The Ward Museum of Wildfowl Art has plenty of art, nature and culture involving wildlife, hunting, waterfowl, art and much more! Inside the Ward Museum is a gift shop, Lem and Steve Wards' original workshop, historic waterfowl tools, methods, and other technologies, past and present carving pieces of art and much more! Even if you aren't that familiar with the Ward brothers, wildfowl art or waterfowl hunting history, a tour guide will be more than happy to fill you in with more information than you can handle. The museum was originally established from the legacy of Eastern Shore decoy carvers, Lem and Steve Ward. Carvings that still exist today created by the Ward brothers can be worth thousands. The Ward museum was created from their dedication in carving as the museum displays their preserved pieces of work, history, and tools used. The museum has carvings from champion wildfowl artists, events, tours, history of waterfowl hunting, seminars and a gift shop. For more information visit the Ward Museum website or call them at 410-742-4988. Admission is free for students and members while for others it costs only a few dollars.
