Public Boat Ramps

Looking for the quickest and easiest way to get your boat in the river? Whether you are looking to take a quick paddle down Schumaker Pond or to catch some trophy rockfish towards the rivers mouth, one of the Wicomico Rivers six public boat ramps should suit your needs. There are also several soft launch spots exclusively for kayaks and canoes located at Pemberton Park, Schumaker Park, off of Carroll St, and at the end of Clara Rd just past the Red Roost. The Port of Salisbury Marina is in the process of creating a floating boat dock that will create free access to the river for recreational paddlers.
