Put in at the Rose Street boat ramp and take a 30-45minute paddle up Johnson pond into a swamp loaded with bald cypress trees. Feel free to also explore the middle fork of the pond. This is also a great step up trail for beginners after Schumaker Pond (2 hrs round trip).
