The Lower River

The lower river consists of the waters and marshes of the Wicomico River south of Whitehaven. This is a beautiful and ecologically pristine section of the Wicomico River including many healthy marshes and wildlife species. The lower river is a great place to explore on the Wicomico by water access due to the lack of road access due to undisturbed marshes, making it all that much more enjoyable.

Bay vs. River?
What constitutes a bay? A river? Really a tricky question.
