Why Hunt?

Tired of hunting the same old spots or are those other spots you usually go to full of other hunters getting in the way? By making your next hunting experience on the Wicomico River, all of your problems may be solved! The primary destination for hunting on the Wicomico River is at Ellis Bay Wildlife Management Area which is located on the Atlantic Flyway. Typically waterfowl species begin migrating south often during October as temperatures start to drop up until March as temperatures begin to rise back up. Ellis Bay consists of extensive marshlands that sit right on the Wicomico River, next door to the Nanticoke River. There is a wide variety of waterfowl that uses the area consisting of black ducks, mallards, woodies, and multiple types of divers. Hunting from the Wicomico offers hunting on the main part of the river, Ellis Bay and valleys of water that run through the marsh lands. In addition, the experience on the Wicomico is not like any other places as it is never over-crowded with people, giving you the space needed to have a satisfying experience.
Be sure to make your next hunt on the Wicomico River of the Eastern Shore!
Be Safe! Good Hunting!
