Description
Blue upper-body, Silver sides, and a white underbelly
Sharp teeth
Powerful body for their size
Size
Can reach up to forty inches
Most bluefish throughout the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries reach a maximum of 12 inches
Habitat
Found in large school in the mouth of the river
Fishing Tips
Bluefish will eat almost anything they encounter in the water
A wire leader is recommended because their teeth will bite though non-wire leaders
